Types of Temporary Residence Permits

Issued if you're working in a company with an annual turnover of at least 100,000 GEL or operate a business - for example, as an individual entrepreneur - with a turnover of at least 50,000 GEL. Exceptions for educational and medical establishments apply.

How to obtain a residence permit in Georgia

To obtain a residence permit, you must apply to the House of Justice. The residence permit confirms the name, surname, citizenship, and place of residence of the foreign national in Georgia. The staff at Jara Accounting will assist you at every stage of obtaining a residence permit.

Grounds for obtaining permanent residency

$300,000 investment A Permanent Residence Permit in Georgia can be issued to foreign citizens with the following investment turnover: a) $50,000 in the first year; b) $100,000 in the second year; c) $120,000 in the third, fourth, and fifth years, as well as persons who received a Temporary Residence Permit based on owning property (except for farming land) worth $300,000 and have owned this property for the last 5 years.

The cost of state duty depends on the time period the issuance takes.

Temporary Residence Permit

30 days - 300 GEL; 20 days - 450 GEL; 10 days - 600 GEL

Permanent Residence Permit

30 days - 350 GEL; 20 days - 500 GEL
